KCC/Kankakee County Meeting of the Council for Community Sustainability
Room L253, Kankakee Community College
River Road, Kankakee, Illinois
Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11:30 A.M.
Editor's Note: We have been told by Bert Jacobson, Ph.D. Dean of Sustainability and Planning at KCC that he does not want the public to view their meetings. We are contacting the Illinois Attorney Generals office to see if these meetings come under the Open Meetings Act. This council has two Kankakee County board members listed as council members and seems to act as a advisory body which may make meetings of the Council for Community Sustainability subject to the Illinois Open Meetings Act. We shall find out one way or other. We have to wonder why this council would want to keep the public from viewing their meetings. http://www.kcc.edu/COMMUNITY/SUSTAINABILITY/Pages/sustainabilitycommittees.aspx
