We do not require membership dues or donations but we do ask for donations to help cover our operating costs such as this web site, video taping of government meetings and when necessary print ads in local media, radio ads, mailing costs, Freedom of Information copy costs paid to local government, etc..
We are also looking for people to video tape local government meetings. Whatever kind of video camera you have, it is likely you can upload meeting videos to our video host for public viewing. We will then post it on our site and you can also post it elsewhere if you choose. A link can be sent out to our e-mail list and anyone you choose. Our video host is available to anyone. You do not have to go through us. The more government meetings in the area that are video taped and can be viewed by the public, the better! Even if you can only video tape your favorite government body meetings now and then, that's OK.
