Good News!   In addition to the garbage-to-ethanol company, Coskata, Inc. of Warrenville Illinois, another garbage-to-energy technology is coming to Illinois through  HB 4426 which on April 16, 2008 passed 113 Yeas, 1 Nays and 1 present.  State Representative Lisa Dugan and  Careen Gordon voted for it

This is the type of technology, St Lucie County, Fla. is building to clean up an existing landfill and will use the current garbage stream to generate electricity. www.geoplasma.com. Click on Jacoby Energy.  Hopefully  the Herald and the Daily Journal will cover the exciting news about HB 4426.  No Need For New Garbage Dumps!!  Garbage is too valuable as an energy source!!   Wake up Mayor Green!!
