We are no longer video taping government meetings at this time. Our volunteer is taking well deserved time off. We need new volunteers to help out. Sadly most people in this community will talk a lot about government but will not volunteer to do anything or donate any money to help out.

If you have a government meeting you want to video tape and post online, we would be happy to add it to our site. We use http://www.blip.tv/ as our video host. They are a free host and have a category for citizen journalist.
Some examples would be County of Kankakee, City of Kankakee & Momence, village governments, school board, township, park district and library board meetings. We are looking for volunteers to help. You do not have to ask for permission from any government body to tape their meetings because of the Open Meetings Act. It is the law!
